Still chipping away… even buffed the roof. All glass in, indicators and taillights done. Not too far away from finish line. I need to bring pearl in. Was driving around yesterday and clutch cable tube came loose. Maybe after the trans axle.

I took the transaxle apart and have it ready to send. Decided to go with your core because it’s probably number matching to that bus. And it looks like you spent a bunch of time cleaning it.

Cole was stoked on the mess that your half full transaxle made. 🙂

Dario got a 3.88 transaxle built for his bus. We’re going to blast and paint the rgb and assemble it for him.

😎😎 definitely gonna be loaded down. I’m gonna make that motor work one last time! It has to last till eddy finishes my 2276. I’m debating using my stimulus money to get a case ordered from rimco.

I’m glad I sent the trans in, the hockey stick wasn’t broken but it was gouged up. Eddy said there’s no way it would’ve gone into gear as chewed up as it was. I think I found the culprit when I was under the bus cleaning up grease. The clutch cable tube came unwelded. I bet they were slamming gears when they couldn’t get a good adjustment.

Anyhow I hope everyone is staying healthy and busy. I’m headed to telluride today. Found a suburban that’s been parked in some guys garage in mountain village. It’s a 93 with 140k on it. The family is outgrowing my little ranger.

Order that big engine. Don’t even mess with the 1200cc… Its going to blow-up the first time you drive out of town.

And definitely not going to keep up with the crew you’re traveling with.
