I punt 5 gallons of fresh fuel in and went for a test drive this AM …It was not running correctly. Maybe a fouled plug. Seemed like there was a mis.

I’m elbow deep removing the intake and throttle body to get at the #3 spark plug.

New plugs, and it’s running great. Maybe old fuel??

Just got back from a lap. Going to tweak the map a little. Lean low and top, fat in the middle.

Made 23lbs of boost with 160 degree intake air temp. We’re going to have to dial things back a bit. Can’t run that kind of boost on pump gas.

I assume we want to keep it on pump gas? Water/meth injection would help keep the intake temp down too.

That’s a lot! Did you have the overboost on? Man set that now!

Yeah, went a on a couple drives tweaked the fuel map and took some timing out. Almost have it dialed.

We got snow this morning…so I’m on hold again.

Going to start on paint buffing and touch-ups today.

The fuel map is getting better. That green on the top end is no bueno.

    Hey Guys!

The car is looking great!  I was laughing out loud at John’s comments on the number of wires.  The fit and finish is a work of art!!

I pulled the 65 Beetle home so getting it ready to send your way.  I will need a few weeks though as I have to locate everything for it.

    Thanks again!

Cool. Looking forward to the new project.

FYI The rev6 clutch is working great. The pedal pressure feel like stock. Smooth engagement. Win.

I took the fender off and started on paint repairs yesterday.

I modified the sender cap a bit more. Angled the outlet down.

Then I noticed that gas tank has a huge bubble. I’m going to have to remove the take to repaint it.

Franz did a few repairs to the bottom of this fender.. Possible tie down injury??  I have injured more cars going in and out of trailers than I care to talk about….  anyway… Franz had to weld a small piece in and do some body work… a little paint, a little clear… it will be all good… 😎
