Daniel (the blue super above that Petey posted) had his axles made somewhere. He said it didn’t take long. He did Tesla inners and 930 outers. Is that your plan as well?

Thanks Scott, we already have 930 conversion flanges installed. Should be able to buy the correct length sway-a-way or Empi axles when ready.

More welding, something like 60 joints total, I’ve fully welded 50 of them. Then disassembled the spring plates/bushing to prep for welding on the front tubes.

I stayed late last night and finished welding all of the tube/patches. Stoked to be at this point. We can start thinking about mounting batteries. I have some ideas, I’ll elaborate later.

Next on the list is to finish the IRS control arm drop plate mods. I’ll be able to use the frame table to get them perfect.

More welding today. Made a couple gussets for the body/battery mounts. I’m not going to get crazy with gussets like a race car cage…They just looked like they needed more structure, the fronts especially.

I also build up some material on the shocktowers to finish the edge where they were cut.

Yeah, more welding. I beefed up the front mount with some bands around the tabs. That was the last item of fabrication for the Tesla drive unit. I am done with mounting. Woohooo!

I’m going to get into some IRS control arm modifications today.
