One tube at a time. Still have to connect the 3rd mount on the driver’s side.

Unbelievable work Franz!!  Shaking my head at your incredible work!  Be sure to take a lot of pictures as this build is certainly article worthy.  I don’t get excited much, but this project is starting to get the heart racing. (in a good way!)  Looking forward to next steps….

Franz, my friend did one here. It is crazy. He can’t keep it from blowing the tires off. I’ll post some pics.

That’s what I hear. The S85 drive unit is supposed to be good for 380hp

Thanks Dan, more to come. How do you feel about sparco seats?

This is the coolest most up to date modern project we have going on right now… 😎

I kinda want Audrey and Franz to make a reel about this…   I think it would break the internet again… 😎 😎

This is very cool… very cool…. even though I am not into e cars.. this is cool…. 😎

I didn’t like the  angle of the tube connectors on the 1” stuff that I addedd on Friday, so I cut them apart and rotated 9o degrees. I was able to un-bolt and re-bolt the rear sub frame section, so the design works. I want to add a couple more tubes around the corners.

Prep for the 3rd mount called for some 17mm x 10mm x 60mm bushings that will be recessed and welded into the tube.

Finished the side mount plate work, then bent and fit some 1” x .120” tube around the sides of the drive unit. I’ll drop some connectors on the corners of these tubes to make them sturdy.

I think when Franz has all his tubes and welding done he’ll be ok with video.  Get it off the frame table…  back on a pan dolly..   Then you can get around it to do something nice….

I think you start the reel with this picture  I’m sure you can find it on the internet, I think Glenn might have put it there.. 😎

Looking good!  I think we should powder coat all of this amazing work. Thoughts?
