After the long day of Vanagon work… Cole pulled his rig in and put a new aster cylinder on it last night… and hopefully bleed his brakes!!!! He already cleaned up and put it away.. last night while I was sleeping… 😉  😉   Coles learning this shit.. at a fast rate…  In the last month… he has done about everything… and tore down a few motors too…. 😉

I am very lucky! Emilee is awesome. She even let me pull in my bus after hours yesterday haha  😉  😉  got the new master cylinder in last night and bled the brakes a few times. With pats help they were ready to rock! Test drove it last night and it stops now! Woohoo! Going to check the drum adjustments again right now, make sure hey seated right and then I need to decide what to do next….

I like the blue decklid… and the broken push button latch on it is like an extra safety feature… haha yesterday I ended up piecing together a couple broken camper windows to fix mine! Had to drill some apart and re rivet them together. We drove it to roosters and ran out of gas 100 feet from kcw… after we refueled it ran well! Excited for the little things I’ve been able to do to this bus. Thanks for all the help this week guys!

Keep that buffer AWAY from my bus! Haha I’m surprised I didn’t wake up one morning last week and that sucker was already buffed… I am going to hand rub some wax in.

 

And yes, I need to do my rockers soon. Gotta plan a good time to do that.
