How are you solving the shift rod touching the adjuster problem?MikeKParticipantApril 2, 2020 at 10:28 amPost count: 230
I was thinking the same thing. I flipped my upper adjuster to the front on the last set I installed.FranzKeymasterApril 2, 2020 at 10:43 amPost count: 3363
I prefer to have the adjuster were its accessible.
Cutting the adjuster bolt for shift rod clearance is a better option IMO.John JonesKeymasterApril 2, 2020 at 11:05 amPost count: 6326ColeBModeratorApril 3, 2020 at 12:39 amPost count: 1502
Just used a thin nut. I have barely any rub. Like barely. Don’t notice it while driving and my bus still shifts great.
this week has been a kick in the balls. But as always, such a great time. Didn’t intend to pull my beam out. Thought I just had broken leafs in it. But my drivers front side kept sagging. Adjusted my spring plate angle a few times… took my beam apart like 4 times haha. Took longer than expected, but I now the ins and outs of a bus beam now! Haha my bus is standing tall! Thanks for Franz and JJ for all the help today finishing this thing up. Always so fun hanging at the compoundFranzKeymasterApril 3, 2020 at 8:54 amPost count: 3363
Monster truckin! Looking good Cole.
Yeah, we made adjusters out of flywheel teeth…like Wagens West did back in the day.John JonesKeymasterApril 3, 2020 at 9:10 amPost count: 6326
