Cole has been taking temperature reading during long interstate type drives….On the case and heads with an infared gun. From months ago before it had an oil sump or type IV cooler.
The quantity of the oil helps no doubt…but I also think having the sump in good airflow is key.
We’ll see what the difference is soon enough. Rebuilding the engine in the middle of the tests was not planned. Worn-out 1914cc stock carb VS. fresh 1914cc w/dual carbs. Similar heads, compression ratio, and cam.
