It is about 45 min west of Delta UT. About a 500 mile round trip on the odometer. I went climbing. A friend brought his eurovan. He kept commenting about how surprising my bus was off-road hahah. This is the first stop on the trip I’ve been planning with Derek from Utah for a 3 day cruise/camping trip to Utah’s west desert. I hope you all come! May 17-19. Going to see cool old mining stuff, a hobbit house, hot springs, lots of open space, not a lot of people or gas. Lots of fun! I love my bus! Been almost driving it daily. So fun! Love using this thing </span>

😎   There is no feeling like driving a split bus… It’s a choice for simplicity!  😎

Cole, you need a “sky deck” cargo rack for that rig. Maybe a tow hitch too. Then you can bring along a dirt bike or two on a light trailer. 🙂

I'm at the age where "fuck off", "fuck you", and "fuck it" answer most questions.

Ya! I need to make or find a rack. I like the one on dan’s mango. Might try to do something like that. I had a gas can and fire wood in my bus this weekend. Would’ve been nice to strap it up too. De-clutter the inside of the bus

ya, and I got a AA Performance doghouse fan shroud. Anything else I should have ready/do when I pull the motor?

Im also eating up oil… anything I should do? It runs super well… Do I just feed the beast the oil it wants?

2D2636CF-B46B-40FD-A729-AE86744BC1B0For some reason the new oil cooler type 4 adapter from AA performance didn’t come with long enough studs… so I made some from generator screws. 3AE81236-65E7-444E-A789-3F070079E527Close up of the new oil cooler and the new exhaust 👍🏼6E8A1A73-0102-4A84-8728-73467CA3AF77AE9BDE6C-1A7A-405C-95EA-3D77E1F95EB0Fan shroud fit perfectly👌🏻 Just had to smash the sides in a bit to fit the new dual carbs D82591C0-D87F-4D83-A8F4-9365FA541687thanks Franz for the help with fitting and adjusting the carbs! Fired it up and this thing sounds mean! Excited to drive it with the new carbs5BE6E97F-A322-41CD-833E-2AD39B23AB77B18EEBF2-9C1A-427F-8879-2C48A4F41D87got the new Bilstein shocks on front and back. I don’t know how hard to torque these? I couldn’t come up with a conclusive answer on the samba. Half said 25ft lbs which sounds low and others just said good and tight. RACE YELLOW FOR SPEED AND AGILITY. Another fun day at KCW! Love getting stuff done here!

One of my shocks developed a little squeak after 1400 miles or so, cranked on it more and it went away, so I’d get it tight.
