I guess it’s about time to give my bus some love. About to pull the motor to redo the main seal (anything else I should do while I have the motor out?). I’m going to try and put the truck mirrors on and finish up some electrical work (I’m terrible with electrical stuff. Just never really done it. I have to blinkers or running taillights. but there are some wires not plugged into anything back by my speedo, so I’m going to pull that out and check the diagram to make sure everything is in order) by the time I leave for Africa. So then I can focus on the interior when I get back. Have it ready for awesome Fall camping and climbing.FranzKeymasterJune 22, 2018 at 12:11 pmPost count: 1628
Do you have a test light or muli-meter?
The diagram is pretty simple to follow. Make sure the turn signal power supply is on switched(ignition) power. The diagram even has numbers on the switches that correspond to the actual part.ColeBParticipantJune 22, 2018 at 1:33 pmPost count: 701
Ok cool. Ill print that color diagram out off the samba.
I do have a test light. I’ll try using that.FranzKeymasterJune 22, 2018 at 3:30 pmPost count: 1628
If you’re going to do much wiring on the speedo it is easier to take the parcel shelf and speedometer out. Do the gauge wiring upsidedown/backwards, then re-install. Or jam your body upside down with a mirror and look like a fool.ColeBParticipantJune 24, 2018 at 10:14 amPost count: 701
I got my main seal all switched out. But the clutch was pretty oil soaked, so Im just going to get a new clutch kit on Monday. Might as well since I have the motor out.Pat KKeymasterJune 26, 2018 at 5:33 amPost count: 467
Get this gem back together last night ?
Ready to prowl parks and quiet neighborhoods again. LOL

such a cool rig… Can’t wait to here some road trip stories from you and Emilee… You could carry all the gear, and just sleep in her bus I guess…. Next time you have that rig over here for a weekend… I’ll redo that paint blending…. 😎 I think it can be closer and better,.. 😎ColeBParticipantJune 26, 2018 at 8:13 amPost count: 701
That would be awesome JJ! Thanks for the offer. I’m sure I’ll be out there later this summer one way or another. Got the clutch back on yesterday. Need to slide the motor back in today. Been busy with work! That’s a good thing though. I need those pennys! Ha!ColeBParticipantJune 27, 2018 at 3:12 pmPost count: 701
Shiny new new tune up. Purrrrrrrrring prettygot my bus all back together and took it for a longer spin today and no drips yet! Hopefully that continues. Man it’s hot here today! Not as bad as junction or AZ. I would be burnt to a crisp if I was there. Going to finally work on those electrical issues and get my mirrors on!
