Why not leave it on the pan and start prepping for paint? Gonna have to cut corners somewhere.

You guys are the experts. Not me. 2 weeks would be sweet. I was thinking having the motor and trans done and ready to put on the pan would save a lot of time. But I know all the paint and body and assembly takes a lot of time too.

In case you need some inspiration to go the Fontana Grey route, here is my old OG paint ’65 Fontana Grey.

    OG Paint Fontana Grey

Don’t get me wrong, Anthracite is a great color, and I would be hard pressed to choose between the two.

Here’s my buddy’s old ’62 OG paint Anthracite back in the day (which is always a Wednesday)

I can’t wait to see the finish product of your build.

I like the look of that car!!!!

The body is already unbolted… be easier to do assembly apart… and easier to do a better job…  I say we get that body in the dirty shop and finish tear down,..

I think I am with Scott… I would at least slightly lower it…  like Zacks car..  but stock height, IS ALRIGHT! 😎  I think he wants some aggressive tires.. 😎

I am gonna see if I can get all these young men here to take your body off so I can stare at it some… 😎  Glen is here, Willy lives here I think… 😎

Glen and will? Man! I’d like to see glen again. Haven’t since sst.

stock height…. ya, you didn’t misread it…. I love stock height. If I’m going to drive anything lower, then I’ll drive a Porsche:) beetles and buses were made to be used. Stock height allows them to be used for more things. I also live down a mile of dirt road. The thought of dragging my shit every time I try to get to my house doesn’t sound fun… and snow season is close! Need that extra ground clearance.

I can’t wait to see this starting to get built. I’m right there with you on the stock height. My 65 is stock height with 215 75 15 all terrains on it.
