Knocked out a few more bits this morning.
Fit up the pass inner rocker and a section of cargo floor support first.
Followed by the outriggers.
Prepared everything and burned it all in.
We will build it if it comes.FranzKeymasterOctober 19, 2020 at 1:57 pmPost count: 3698
Pat is killing it today! Long rocker going on.Pat KKeymasterOctober 19, 2020 at 3:05 pmPost count: 1460
Mocked up drivers side inner rocker and rear top hat section to start last nights shift. Burned those in.
Outriggers, jack points, lower b pillar, and long side support lower section were next.
Started fitting long side outer.
Made up a small patch section for the front inner lower section of the driver rear fender well.
Just finished tacking the long side into its new home. Really happy with the fit!!!
We will build it if it comes.Pat KKeymasterOctober 20, 2020 at 11:44 amPost count: 1460
Finished welding up the long side rocker then dressed welds.
Also dressed the top side welds of the cargo floor support repair sections and outriggers while cleaning up the back of the long side.
We will build it if it comes.John JonesKeymasterOctober 21, 2020 at 4:45 amPost count: 6889
Good to see you this weekend Buddy… and I got all your parts home safe and sound in my bus….. 😎
Pat is kicking ass… Bus rust repair…. 😎 sometimes it’s like Lego’s…. Now Pat is onto the end of closing panels and shit.. the stuff that is harder..
I figured out why Buddy like’s the TR3.. it’s less shiny than buffing it…. 😎 😎John JonesKeymasterOctober 21, 2020 at 7:21 amPost count: 6889
I got the pass side dissected down to useable weldable metal and about to start putting it back together… Pat is cranking on the drivers side.. I didn’t want to cut soo much out… but the inner pillar was the worse….
Dirty shop love!!!!!Pat KKeymasterOctober 21, 2020 at 8:37 amPost count: 1460
We’re tag teaming you in the dirty shop today Bubby…..hope you enjoy it…😘😘😜😜
JJ is back in action!!!! Knocking out pass side front fender well/ b pillar/ bulkhead work.
I fabrocated a bulk head section and a closing panel to finish up the drivers side front fender well.
We had a couple of funky green closing panels for the front fender wells, but they were a bit short for what we need.
Drivers front fender well is all back together.
We will build it if it comes.FranzKeymasterOctober 21, 2020 at 8:44 amPost count: 3698
