The Dr is in surgery… 😎 We decided to wait on the battery tray and B pilar repair before we dust off where we worked on it.. So Pat’s fixing the dash at the moment… Fits ate tit’s… 😎YberParticipantOctober 30, 2019 at 9:47 amPost count: 148
Yeah! Looks like getting down to the last of the metal work!Pat KKeymasterOctober 30, 2019 at 12:35 pmPost count: 1211
Welded and dressed holes in the fresh airbox cover and disassembled vent windows this morning. Rounding up anything that needs to be blasted.
Just finish up dash repairs around the radio opening.
We will build it if it comes.YberParticipantOctober 30, 2019 at 12:43 pmPost count: 148
WOW – REALLY, REALLY nice work, Pat!!!
Sorry – I forgot to mention – I think the height of the radio opening was also increased a bit back when I installed a stereo…John JonesKeymasterNovember 1, 2019 at 7:34 amPost count: 6124

I was thinking the block off plate would cover that up… It is only a cunt hair more than 1/16″ off each side…. 😎 well try one… 😎
I’m hoping for some WolfsBurgWest metal to show up today… Get that last of the metal work done and dust things off, and start body work!!!!YberParticipantNovember 1, 2019 at 8:35 amPost count: 148
Yeah – probably the factory cover plate will cover that. I KNOW for sure the stainless plate I machined (slightly larger) will cover it, so if it’s too big a pain – skip it!
BTW – do you happen to know what insulation was used on Willbur’s 65 SO42? It looks real nice and I’d like to find out.Pat KKeymasterNovember 1, 2019 at 1:40 pmPost count: 1211
JJ has me working on some shop cleanup/organization today. Came across a block plate. Looks like it will do.
We will build it if it comes.YberParticipantNovember 1, 2019 at 2:52 pmPost count: 148
Very cool, Pat! If that block-off plate works – I’m sure the trim piece with the stock Motorola radio will also fit.
Thanks for checking that out!!
REALLY nice job fixing up the bad thing I did to that dash, Pat!!YberParticipantNovember 3, 2019 at 3:04 pmPost count: 148
Today was a GORGEOUS day in the San Luis Valley – so we took Lori’s 69 Ghia out for a Sunday drive and a nice lunch. Big smiles!!!John JonesKeymasterNovember 4, 2019 at 8:21 amPost count: 6124

Bolted to body, adjusted gaps and burned in latch plate.
Drivers side batt. tray area.
Drivers b-pillar. Looks great from all sides.
