Welded and dressed holes in the fresh airbox cover and disassembled vent windows this morning. Rounding up anything that needs to be blasted.

WOW – REALLY, REALLY nice work, Pat!!!

Sorry – I forgot to mention – I think the height of the radio opening was also increased a bit back when I installed a stereo…

I was thinking the block off plate would cover that up…  It is only a cunt hair more than 1/16″ off each side…. 😎    well try one… 😎

I’m hoping for some WolfsBurgWest metal to show up today… Get that last of the metal work done and dust things off, and start body work!!!!

Yeah – probably the factory cover plate will cover that.  I KNOW for sure the stainless plate I machined (slightly larger) will cover it, so if it’s too big a pain – skip it!

BTW – do you happen to know what insulation was used on Willbur’s 65 SO42?  It looks real nice and I’d like to find out.

JJ has me working on some shop cleanup/organization today. Came across a block plate. Looks like it will do. 9206979A-22F5-44AB-9A9C-C664DA2CBB5A

Very cool, Pat!  If that block-off plate works – I’m sure the trim piece with the stock Motorola radio will also fit.

    Thanks for checking that out!!

REALLY nice job fixing up the bad thing I did to that dash, Pat!!

Brent.. Had a good day yesterday…. Got that inner B pillar installed, and covered up the whole back up on the rocker!!  Then moved to the drivers rear corner… Got the tray in, mud flap, closing panel and little wall piece pat made put back in..  The shell is ready to get dusted off!!!

Pat is repairing the other cargo door piece now… fit that door, and dust it off!!!  Then…   The ball sucking arm wrenching shoulder burning task of doing body work…. 😎

Well, I was going to say  – hooray the metal work is done.  But it sounds like the body work is no picnic…
