a friend if Bubba’s… and now my friend too… 😎  Another guy in Durango with an impressive bus collection!!!

Zack. we gotta get Bo in the Forums..  He was on… but on one of the security upgrades, I think he got deleted or a spam bot or somerthing.. 😎

Plan…  lowered, narrowed, straight axle, WillWood brakes, repop fuch’s  Touch up as little paint as possible, Replace front end and repair corners.. No blasting… No stripping…  Cool Cruiser for hauling friends around Durango….  😎

Great looking bus! I was going to try and bring my bus down in a couple of weeks to try and raise it back to stock. I’d trade the straight axle or narrowed beam if that would help either party?  My brother in law was just telling me that Durango is filled with split buses! Awesome!

Probably same one you found.  Hard to make out; it a reflection so the letters are backwards (Gratefully dedicated x3?).

    Meh

Oh, and this bus is rad.

I figured Bo would be stoked we got him in so quick.!!!!!  We gotta get him back on the forums..  Maybe he can just sign up again??  Or if he emails me the old screen name….. Maybe Zack can get him going again??

I imagine Pat will knock this metal work out in short order…   Then well work on the stance!  Bo… I think you should get a rebuilt center section unless you don’t mind playing the tranny lottery….  You mentioned you had a line on a 68 trans…  That would work fine.. I still want to put the conversion axle tubes on, but the 68 axles will work great..  and if it were me.. I would just stick wth the drums in the rear, we can buy re-drilled late drums that are Porsche pattern, the 68 brakes will work perfect.. Hell, we could probably just re-drill the OG drums.. that would be even better… stronger castings.  Up front… I think a 2.5 ” beam with flipped spindles and Russell’s willwood brake kit…  perfecto!  4.5’s up front, 5.5’s in the rear…   or 5.5’s all around.. 😎  2332 tractor motor… I know you guys have hills…  There’s a good one leaving durango a long steep one…. You’ll love being able to power up that in 4th gear…   a straight axle bus drives nice, much more aggressive in comparison to stock…

I usually put the nose on first, decided to do the floor, then headlight bucket support, then nose.  Seems to be a bit easier this way. Front floor burned in.C0785BCA-D3F9-4553-ACAE-D9039997D3A904EFA3C5-7F95-49AE-BA02-3856FF9EEDAC
