There is a Hummel motor complete with prop . Only 2 hrs .3,800 obo on KSl classified you should look in to it.

Scott Kessler took over Hummel engines. His shop is about an hour from me in Florence, AZ. That price is right at new.

Second wing panel is almost done, just have glue on the railing edge, and it will be caught up with the other wing. I will hang it up and start on the fuselage. Going pretty quickly considering I only spend a half day Saturday and a couple hours during the week on it. Second wing went quick because I didn’t have to figure everything out as I went. Built it in half the time.

This coming weekend is the Chirco’s show and DHP’s Saturday night cruise-in. Throw in some city camping, I might make some headway on it. 🙂

Pretty cool video of a composite formula 1 pylon racer being made. The bondo sequence will make JJ tired for sure. Get a cup of coffee and take a 45 minute break. 🙂

That’s funny. Maybe he got better as he went.

 

Laid up up the bottom fuselage rails and the two wide stations. Heated and bent together and up for the tail post. Just tacked now. Finish welding will be acetylene.
