It’s designed to be open to help with the weight and high cross wind conditions. I’ve seen some completely covered and some partially. I plan to keep it open.

I’ve got to go scout the area again, but back when I was fly a lot, we used to land on this dry lake bed west of Tucson. Lots of room to set up a VW camper site and have a big ‘ol party! Everyone is welcome when the time comes.
