About an hour search on Amazon. They’re great about listing the same shit over and over. You really have to dig to find what you want.

Just got home from another Nevada trip. Miles since I replaced the speedo cable in Dec2019.

Ben could you give me some details about the radiator you used on your bus?
Vehicle itโs for and maybe a part number?
Where you mounted it and fans used?
Thanks Tim.

I just used a Subaru all aluminum replacement radiator from eBay. Used the stock fans and mounted on the belly, between the frame rails.

Do you remember the year and model of Subaru?
Any issues?
Does it cool well in the summer heat?Tim
^^^Just a Forrester replacement, all aluminum radiator(I think they are the same for all models except the six cylinder). The stock Subaru from a donor car in good shape will work just fine to.
I made four trips through Las Vegas this summer, one to St. George, UT, with no over heating issues at all in over 100 degree heat.

Last month, After meeting up with the KCW Shasta crew in Ely, NV, I headed home the next day. My transmission gave up just outside Las Vegas. Wiped out another input shaft bearing. This time I didnโt hear anything and a lot more damage occurred. Took out the fourth gear splines on the pinion shaft, so my 3:88 R&P is now toast. Luckily I have a 4:12 in stash. But it will cost a pretty penny to get it fixed. My transmission guy is on it. Derek โBoxrodโ Campbell came and rescued me from the side of the freeway. We rented a small SUV and U-haul trailer to get me home. Currently running with my old transmission with 4:37 R/P. Pretty low geared now. Bet I could climb any pass in fourth gear right now. ๐

Is all that subi power eating your trannys up?
We will build it if it comes.
Is all that subi power eating your trannys up?
Yep.. I think so. Subi’s are hard on fourth gear. I have Weddle race gears, but these transmissions were never meant for 180hp. I’m keeping my eye open for a good Subi five speed for future swap. If I keep the bus that long.

Well thats a bummer Ben… I think my bug motor and towing and heavy loads I do eats my input haft bearings up also… I swear I can already hear mine making noise… 8-(
You keep making reference to selling…. that big wad of cash is hard to say no to…ย but a split bus is hard to replace….
