Failed my Certified VIN inspection today 😥  😥  😥 got popped for no turn signals, no horn and no wipers!!! He ran both my pan numbers as well as the body tag. Turns out that Derek Pacheco aka Dope Beat Derek is the last owner of the pan and the body number was late 55. He also said he was likely to give it a new Colorado VIN number………….. NOT WHAT I WAS HOPING FOR!!!!!!!! 👿  👿  👿

Bummer Rusty.  But wtf, it is a roadworthy inspection, you gotta have turn signals and horn…

They hit me for no drivers seat one time 😳

😀 Thought I was good, thought I could use hand signals (you can!) but never thought of a horn and Hell, I don’t have wipers on most of my cars!!! 🙄

Really? State Patrol is ok with hand signals? 😯 They let Bubba get away with it on the red bus but I thought it was a fluke. That saves a lot of messing around. For the horn maybe you can use the finger?

Ha thats what I told you….someone out there(who knows where that car is now?) has the car with the body vin (same as your pan) in use.

At least you got an option with a new state issued title. Maybe you can convince them to use the 55 body vin if you deface the 53 vin?

How would that work anyways? The buyer already paid about 90% of my asking price and deposited it into a bank account, he has only talked to me a few times on the phone, he has no bill of sale he doesn’t know the cars Vin number and he doesn’t know where I live……………..Pretty much your usual car sale!!!!!! 🙄  🙄  🙄  🙄  😀

You could buy yourself a tractor or bobcat for what you would get for it… Make that dirt work a lot easier…. I bet Keith would go in on it too..
