What’re the entry costs? Aside from a baja? Do you need a crew and such or can you run independently?

Pat and I are about to pull the trigger on full cage/chassis builds. JJโ€™s is barely running w/bald tires…and heโ€™s scheduled for a spine rebuild in a month. Darioโ€™s wonโ€™t start or something???

Weโ€™ll get them back together. Currently looking for a couple bus trans cores or a case.

I already have my engine built and ready to go. ย Gold standard 1915cc 9.5:1 compression Engle 110 cam advanced 4 degrees, hybrid junk parts empi/Weber 40

This year has been pretty busy despite the shutdown… I probably would barely be using it if it was running.ย  need to spend a little time with it, I’m sure it’s a self inflicted issue ๐Ÿ™„

We have had SOO much fun out there it. Should be illegal!!!!

my Baja could use a refresh end to end… Iโ€™m going to ditch the body lift too… no real advantage… maybe put an early body back on also.. shit, that sounds like a whole build!!!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Out of interest, what does it cost you guys annually to have a car registered?

Like $30 for a old VW with low value.

    Holy shit!

    That’s unbelievable!

Is that paid to the state? or for insurance incase of an accident?

That is to the state for license plates….Insurance is provided though private companies. Depending how much coverage you want, bare minimum liability insurance is something like $30 a month for one car.

    Man that’s incredible, very jealous!

Mine is about $700 ($460USD) per car, for the 2 daily drivers, to the state.

I also have 3 cars on “Club Permits” so have to be a member of a car club and car must be more than 25 years old, limited to 90 days use a year. $180ea ($127USD) per year.

Then each has to have private insurance, on top of that.
