The air filter looks like a nice piece. Tucks into the corner like stock

the rear heater is still in there… Need that I guess…. 😎 I thought they were out of stock??? if not.. then yeah… I agree, order one… 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Finishing this bus is my only project and goal. That’s what JJ is paying me to do.
Thank you very much Andy!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
Sounds like her front seats will be done and at the shop tomorrow!!!!!! Can’t wait!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Audrey has chosen warm Southwest colors!!!!!! Gonna look great! I better get curtains going soon!!!!!
I love going on adventures in our bus!!!
Get any heater stuff you want, I’ll put it in place.
I have an expansion tank being sent to KCW, it’s not that one, it’s one I can make work. One off eBay for $60 bucks.
That engine cradle will only work with their exhaust. I had JJ buy a header already that I know fits my engine cradle. I was just planning on using my cradle and exhaust set up.
Ill use whatever ever you guys buy. I’m bringing a bunch of shit and sending Parts. Worse case I’ll have too any parts to choose from!
Your call.
We used the RMW mount on ee20 swap nicely. Drill a few holes and its done.
How about that expensive air filter box? I think its a good choice.
I was just going to use an aftermarket cone filter.
You guys let me know if your gonna have me use that hanger and exhaust. I can use it or build mine.
Seems like it would take a good amount of time to fabricate, fit, and paint a engine hanger.
The RMW unit mounts towards the front of the engine. I think it would be out of the way of the exhaust your are planning to make. Put you a step ahead? You tell me what you want. Its your project. I’m just thinking of the time you have.
You are planning to do head gaskets and timing belt on this core engine too?
make a wire harness
make a expansion tank
make an exhaust
make an intake
make a thermostat housing
modify a cross over
Mount/route wire harness and ECU
Modify a intake manifold
and a bunch of other stuff
The only part I have collected is a vanagon clutch and clutch disc. We need to have everything ordered like next week to have it here in time.
You have the KEP subaru adapter and flywheel?
yes The adapter plate kit is going in the mail today along with a lot of other shit. Should see a few boxes early next week.
My hanger goes behind the motor. I’ll get you pictures later of one.
Yes im doing headgaskets, water pump, and belt on that motor…did you say core?😳
I got the wiring harness built and on a mock up board. Just need to use the connectors off that motor and solder them to my wires. You have a good solder iron?
franz I appreciate all the thought your putting into helping me set this up!!
I appreciate you guys doing this… and Order anything you think we should use from RMW…. or anyone else.. Lets do it nice and lets do it right and lets do it once… and make it last and be easy for someone to work on and maintain.. 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
I ran out of Audrey’s last batch of cookies last night…. I can’t wait for Andy to get here so she will come back!!!! 😎
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
Regular Chocolate Chip it is! 👍🏻 😁
Thank you so much for putting so much thought into this Andy and Franz – I can’t wait to be driving my vanagon in the not so far future!!! 😁👏🏻
I saw some pictures of the front seats, and they look awesome! Hopefully Corporate can post some when they get to the shop!
It’s all coming together!
Corporate only follows the website when we are out of town… and I only follow it when I am IN town… funny….
Your seats. They came out bitchen as always!
Been a wild ride, but it got me here 😎
