I can’t say thanks enough.. once again…. Andy came out to bail me out of my Vanagon project… 😎  Again.. it wasn’t anything major that broke..  actually nothing broke… but it sure sounded like it with that plug out… damnit.. 😎   I should have investigated more…     BUT…. Andy is actually upgrading a few things here….. So…. I see it as moving forward, and making Audrey’s Van even better…  😎  And thats money well spent… 😎  😎  I know how much this van means to Audrey… So… It’s also important to me…. 😎 😎

Andy is about done… I bet he is done in the next hour or so… 😎   I found and replaced the bad seal on your tank inlet… You should be able to FILLER UP now!!!! 😎

He’s making it all better overall… and I am all for that!!! 😎  Raising the engine is a biggie… Better fuse and relay panel protected from the environments..  added a high idle feature for when it’s cold or high elevation I think, moved the aircleaner and blah blah blah…. 😎

Got the first run completed. Dam it runs awesome. It’s a great upgrade. I’ve learn a lot since I did it a year ago. My normal beetle swaps are really basic, this van is a little more complicated.

Tomorrow we will go drive it and give it the stamp of approval. I guess I’ll dig into the dash/heat control stuff in the morning.

everything is looking and sounding great!!! I am hoping Andy has it dialed in tomorrow!!  I think Him and Audrey may take a short road trip somewhere tomorrow… 😎  😎  Good times!!!!  Sometimes…. You don’t get it exactly right, right out of the gate… 3rd times a charm…. 😎  I’m glad to know things are just getting better for Audrey’s Van… 😎

I’ve fought everything on this bastard!!! But I’m pretty sure I won. No oil leaks or coolant leaks.. 😉😉😉😉

Hopefully tomorrow mid morning I’ll be done with it and give it a long drive.

Yay!!!! The van is running great and sounds awesome!!! Sounds the best it ever has, in fact!! I am so over the moon happy to be back in my van!!! Perma-smile the whole drive home and still smiling now!!

Is everyone sitting down????    It got AAA back to the shop… Andy is taking the motor out, sounds like we lost a bearing in the bottom end… I’m trying to not say negative things about subi’s…..  Andy is doing a HORRIBLE job pitching the Subi revolution to me…. 😎  The most positive thing I can say about it, is I know Andy will make it right….  😎
