Awesome!! Thank you so much Andy!! Can’t wait to be back in my Van😁

I think my Dad is going to talk to you about this, but I was wondering if you mounted Maddie’s engine with the rubber mount? Hers seemed so quiet when I took a ride in it..

I think her is quieter cuz she drives slower..leadfood jones.. 😎

That would require a different exhaust.

Yours and Maddie’s vans are twins as for engine hanger set up (solid mount) I think Maddie has a boat load of insulation in hers…

Version 3.0 I’m raising the motor up with my new engine hanger, like Maddie’s.

Double J and GJ gonna be back from Rushmore the week of the 20th?

I keep seeing these younger college age kids in vanagons. Seems like its the cool thing these days for that age group. I guess when I was in college it was super cool to have a Bay Window. Plus I was super cool..

I’m planning on heading towards Colorado next week this time.. I’m driving the GMC, If I can leave this Saturday I might. All depends if I can cram all this weeks work in.

Rebuilt heads, new rings, all gaskets, new oil pan, engine hanger, fuse box, and some muffler parts. Everything is prepped so it should be an easy swap out.

Im gonna just do this trip solo, no leave date, just show up and work until I gotta come back to Cali.

I got into work yesterday morning, franz and pat helped push this beast into the clean shop. Dead battery. So I just started to take it apart, got the motor out on the shop floor…then notice the EGR plug in the head came out…I never use the EGR shit, I just weld the plug shut and screw it in. Musta backed out. Guess I should have charged the battery???

So what do we do?? I have my rebuilt motor here, new engine hanger, and various other parts..

JJ Gave me the green light to just swap it all over to the rebuilt motor, new hanger and update stuff.

Something about Pat wanting the old subi motor.. hey bro, what’s up you  su-bi-curious ??
