yes! Weather is finally cooperating for some camping! I was driving around with the windows down yesterday and it was so awesome!! 😎😎

Thanks Will! A SoCal Beach trip will definitely have to happen- I’m hoping for this summer!

TGIF!

Plan for today is to get shit done before and after work so we can go exploring in the van tomorrow! No real plan, just gonna drive through the mountains and if we find a nice spot, we’ll stay the night 😁😎

Maybe we will go down towards pike peak? Maybe over towards granby? I hear there is a primitive hot springs in Radium – sorta near Granby- but I also hear this time of year these kind of hot springs are usually flooded…

Van is doing AWESOME!!! Been driving it around town everyday, and starts right up with no issues 😁😁😁 I do see some oil drips at my parking spot… no puddles though!

That sounds like a great plan…. enjoy… relax… be outside in nature….   There is nothing quite like driving a bus…  😎  Stopping where ever you want…. and generally for free….   Getting out in a bus doesn’t have to cost much…  and the smiles per mile are off the charts… 😎

Had and saw lots of smiles yesterday driving around in my van 😁😁

We headed down to Colorado Springs, parked in the Garden Of the Gods Park and made some lunch in the van before we went hiking! Then we made our way up into Pikes Forest past Woodland Park, then up near Mueller State Park found a bit of BLM land to camp on! It was an awesome day of exploring and driving through really beautiful parks and forest areas!

The Van did AWESOME!! Zero problems! The engine looks nice and clean, no oil drips at the camp site, coolant level looking good! It was idling low this morning being so cold and so high up but with a hit of help she started purring on her own in no time!!

First camping trip was a success!!😎😎

Just have to make an appreciation post about my van!! I’m so thankful for Andy, JJ, Corporate and the rest of the KCW crew/family for working out all the kinks in my van so that I can now have a super reliable daily driver!!! No more oil drips, coolant level is staying the same, no chocolate milk oil (now that I actually know what that looks like🤣) just starts right up and takes me anywhere I wanna go!! 😍 I can’t help but have a giant smile on my face the whole time I’m driving it… being in my van is my happy place 😊

While it’s been a fun challenge to parallel park the Van in downtown Denver and Boulder…I’m super excited to camp as much as possible this summer!!! 😎😎
