I like the name of your thread… 😎jpParticipantOctober 28, 2018 at 11:34 pmPost count: 318
Only you guys will understand, but sometimes it’s just so hard. But lately I’ve had some company in my far away, cold shoppe and it helps SO MUCH. It’s been a one man operation for so long I kinda forgot how nice it was to interact with people. I might not always get much done, but it’s to see something getting done. 1+1 = 5 sometimes! That’s why I always try to post a little thread, every little bit helps.John JonesKeymasterOctober 29, 2018 at 7:52 amPost count: 6873
some social interaction is nice.. Doing everything by yourself sucks sometimes… I seem to always have someone around my shop…. always… 😎FranzKeymasterOctober 29, 2018 at 8:58 amPost count: 3688
Yeah, you have 6 people asking you questions all day long on the weekends….and then there is Will.jpParticipantOctober 29, 2018 at 4:22 pmPost count: 318

That’s as close as I can get the rocker, I don’t like the gap but that’s my skill level! Also I didn’t put any of the filler on this bus, PO randomly put filler everywhere and I’m sanding it off.FranzKeymasterNovember 1, 2018 at 10:30 amPost count: 3688
Curbo will be asking if its for sale next…and how much. 😆Pat KKeymasterNovember 1, 2018 at 3:19 pmPost count: 1457

I have the same dilemma I always do. Its got some great original paint, but it’s not right down to it. And I have some areas that need filler work.
a) paint the whole bottom SWR?
b) just try to primer/blend the really obvious areas?? (I suck at blending btw).
Also I might be medium at rockers, but I kicked the crap out of the vents!!ColeBModeratorNovember 1, 2018 at 5:42 pmPost count: 1736
I’d say paint it SWR. Fresh new SWR is nice. As long as it’s not sealing wax pinkjpParticipantNovember 1, 2018 at 6:42 pmPost count: 318

Recently heard about a local brite pink SWR bus 😉 Sadly had to be repainted (painting is NOT cheap locally)
I already did another bus beltline down and it was eeeassy peasy, leaning that way unless it gets too cold to paint then maybe next spring.jpParticipantNovember 4, 2018 at 12:55 pmPost count: 318
