Spent today working on a rear swaybar. This bus has a lot of roof weight. When traveling at interstate speed (thanks to a IRS conversion) it has a lot of body roll in tight corners. I found this weld-it-yourself kit on ebay. 1″ X .250″ 4130 CHROMOLY cross rod should keep sway to a minimun even though the link mounting point is only half way down the torsion arms. Plus it is easy to take of and is minimal permanent modification.

Those are sweet. I think I may need to get one.FranzKeymasterSeptember 28, 2018 at 6:09 pmPost count: 2791
Daily driver status. The rear sway bar really helped. I want to come up with something for a front sway bar so that I can rail corners.
O-berg oil filter/cooler. Nothing else.
Jiffy-tite quick release sealed connections. We used these on the baja race car with great success. They seal themselves when disconnected so that the oil doesn’t drain out. Will make for quicker service of the filter and engine removal.PeteParticipantSeptember 28, 2018 at 7:01 pmPost count: 760
That bus turned out great. I bet it feels good to have it done.FranzKeymasterSeptember 28, 2018 at 9:02 pmPost count: 2791
