Whoa.. those are crazy. Are you running some big reservoir Fox shocks or something?

Got the mounts in and cleaned. Ready for assembly. DSCF7103

I see a dribble of paint on the gas tank strap. Better clean that up. 🙂 Nice work as always Franz.

Hey Franz are you going to dive that bus out to the Utah classic next month?

Maybe. I want to take parts to swap at the Utah classic.

Test drive yesterday was awesome. Finally got the IRS working correctly.

Spent today working on a rear swaybar. This bus has a lot of roof weight. When traveling at interstate speed (thanks to a IRS conversion) it has a lot of body roll in tight corners. I found this weld-it-yourself kit on ebay. 1″ X .250″ 4130 CHROMOLY cross rod should keep sway to a minimun even though the link mounting point is only half way down the torsion arms. Plus it is easy to take of and is minimal permanent modification.

I seen these at the Fruita fall fest on Saturday. Not the cheapest chuck box out there but they are made local. Maybe you demo one with your bus to help them advertise.

Daily driver status. The rear sway bar really helped. I want to come up with something for a front sway bar so that I can rail corners.

    O-berg oil filter/cooler. Nothing else.

Jiffy-tite quick release sealed connections. We used these on the baja race car with great success. They seal themselves when disconnected so that the oil doesn’t drain out. Will make for quicker service of the filter and engine removal.

Trim looks perfect, and glad to have helped, but thank YOU for diving in to your parts stash for me!
