So Fuk! I’m putting in a tiny bit of effort to no success!!  That back nut isn’t 46mm  too big! But I’m glad I bought the socket, Needed one!👍 Grabbed a bunch of big American sockets from my Brother in law, 1 5/8” is small guess I’ll buy/try a 1 3/4 “ unless somebody knows what mm nut this is?!?!?!?!?!? I can’t seem to find the info anywhere!!!!! And I think I saw something about it being punched in place and you can’t re-use the nut?!?!? I’m obviously over my skill level!!!!😂😂😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😂😂😂😂😂😂

Fuck this!!! The back nuts look bad and I’m just acting stupid to get a big nut tranny….. I already have a Painters center section rebuilt at the shop, all new bearings and a painted redux box, tubes, axles all just sitting there………. Let’s just move this forward!!! Judge me if you want for a small nut 64……😃👍 John, you mentioned the list was getting smaller at the shop, how full do you want it?????😃😃😃

Do you have a digital caliper to measure 📏 the nut with? It will get you pretty darn close. Harbor freight has a budget friendly set for us who don’t use em daily.

Yeah, I got the 46 but it doesn’t fit, guess I need to grind down the outside of the socket to get it to sleeve down in there?

Get a 1″ cold chisel and a BFH and hammer it out. Start at about 1/3 of the nut  flat and tap in a notch. Then smack the shit out of it, it should come right off.

That one nut with the crush lip is correct, the other one???? Who knows where that came from.
Back in the day you couldn’t get the crush lip nuts. Wolfsburg West has them now. Get a set of new ones.
