    Need input here Folks!!!! 😀   I need to repair/replace the missing C channel on my front seat tops. Looks like from the welds the C was facing to the back,  not down like later model‘s Does anybody have any idea what diameter these channels were?? Should I use a straight tube or was the tube slightly bent like the seat backs? Think cutting a slot in a tube  is easier than bending sheet metal???

    Yo Rusty. I was digging for parts earlier today. I found a strait back 53-55 front seat back that has the piece you need barely attached. I think its probably the same as your 52.

    Great news Franz!!! 😀  😀  Sooooo, I also have the correct rear seat top for the Split, pretty nice shape and I’m all excited about the original tag I found on the frame 😀 Would you guys keep it as it is and re cover, or sandblast and powder coat??

    You don’t have to powder coat everything just because you work at a powder coating shop. 😉 Its only OG once.
