    Thanks Pat, Franz and John for all the help and knowledge on pulling the transmission this morning, simple and kinda easy minus the smashed thumb. Looking forward to getting this back on the road again. Thanks again.

    Thanks Franz. One small, slow step at a time but it will get done. Franz also welded up my heater boxes and I rebuilt the carbs. I assume the next step is finishing the engine then I think everything goes back in the bug.

    Yeah, for about 3 hours once a week, Ron runs around here asking what he should do next on his car.

    I found some paint and put it on the heater boxes.

    So today I put some more parts on the part then I installed the parts on the part that Franz told me to and put the part on the car. Now the engine is done with a fresh tune up and ready to install! Whoo hoo!
