1961 Flipseat Westy, $15K (Canada)

This is my project Westy. It was media blasted and left outside but it is not pitted or much worse for wear except for surface rust. I used very light vinegar solution and it cleans up very nicely (see pictures).

I am not a Westy expert, what is in pictures is what is included. But, what is included that I know for sure is the front flipseat, most of the lower wood for the cabinets (not top cabinets), the rear seats and the center rear pull outseat. Seats are in good shape (original material under yellow padding). The rest is in so so to bad shape (use as templates?). Also has misc parts like curtain rods etc. Table and stand is there. Pop top is there.

Price; Looking to move as a whole, I can offer a good deal but this is not a ‘giveaway’ price. Please do your research on what the seat costs alone ($5K USD). No silly offers please, I would like to move it to someone who knows and would appreciate the bus.

Thank you!  I’m always paranoid about pictures, always better to have lots and ask for more ‘just in case’.

Back up for sale.  Guys, this is a MONSTER bus.  Don’t let the looks fool you.  Bullet Flipseat Westy’s are rare as FFFF and this has alot of it’s cool rare parts (ie the flipseat and all the seats).

We sat in Lind’s new crazy low mile (like 31xxx or some shit!) all night and got shitfaced few weekends ago in Spokane….the setup makes for a killer camper!

If you look at pure value, flipseats are 7k alone plus random parts, so you get the bus for 8k or less.  Value!

As for cool, can’t beat a flipseat westy.  Drawbacks, looks ugly and needs lotsa work.  Convert sweat equity to real equity.

Its parked in my shoppe, can be media blasted, vinegar dipped whatever…or sold as is.
