If its that rough, put the motor back in it and dont do anything.  Seriously.

I will-just ship it home.  Imnot spending a lot on this one.

Batt tray was not attached very well, seams like  a necessity.

Deep breaths or stronger drinks may be necessary Tom.

I always say that starting out on a project. Every time I think “This time I’ll keep it simple, overlook some stuff, save a buck”

Never works! Fact is any 60+ year old vehicle will need a buttload of $ and work thrown at it to even keep it alive. Ya gotta pay up or just leave it collecting dust in the garage.

I think were gonna be fine…  patina machina solid machina… Driver….    2 days of metal work, 3 days of painting bumpers and patina on bus and green on nose and some sanding… that leaves plenty in the budget to get it driving… This bus will live again!… Thats why they come here!!!! 😎  You brought your bus to the best bus hospital on earth!!!!

This is baby-play for these boys.   We have a plan.    Their gonna knock it outta the park.    The VW curator, KCW,  is preserving another one in all its’ patina’d glory.   Done deal.
