Cleaned her up, got rid of the little black moss spots. Fixed a few bumper dings.
Had a cool visit with an OG, he showed me his 1968 Porsche 911 that hes had from NEW! Wild. Only took a quick pic of his badges.jpParticipantJune 19, 2019 at 8:04 amPost count: 318

My wife is super excited about Colorado!! The only problem with 2 buses is the border and paperwork but it would be a real treat watching pros work. I’m an amateur at best.
Proof, 2 hammers Haha. I can’t get the big dent out…better than before!John JonesKeymasterJune 19, 2019 at 6:01 pmPost count: 7064

That would be awesome, I don’t get to drive fully sorted out buses very often. My passion feels reignited lately. Spent a fair amount of time durdling in the garage. Cleaned a few areas, check out the OG rocker!
Horn was so clean inside! Shocked me.jpParticipantJune 20, 2019 at 1:28 pmPost count: 318
I guess we’re doing this. Stupid spacer behind bearing is always in there so good! Any tricks??Pat KKeymasterJune 20, 2019 at 1:44 pmPost count: 1507
Apply some heat with a torch usually frees up rusty junk. If no torch start treating with penetrating oil couple times a day. Gentle taps with on or those hammers ya got may also help.
We will build it if it comes.FranzKeymasterJune 20, 2019 at 3:13 pmPost count: 3783
I use a small sharp chisel to separate that spacer from the spindle surface.jpParticipantJune 20, 2019 at 7:45 pmPost count: 318
Instructions unclear, you said HEAT right??FranzKeymasterJune 20, 2019 at 8:32 pmPost count: 3783
That works. Do you know somebody with a lathe to clean those up?jpParticipantJune 20, 2019 at 9:07 pmPost count: 318
No. But I can find someone, and someone to press them apart. Can these be flipped easily?
