    I have had Rusty’s 1961 ragtop for 9 years now. It has been an awesome car from day one. The Wolfsburg West bumpers were showing their age and since I had purchased 2 set of the stainless bumpers from Vietnam, I decided to order a set for the ragtop as well. I sent an email and when she said $288 for the pair, I paid immediately. They arrived this morning and six bolts later, they were installed. I don’t know what bumpers you guys are using these days, but this is definitely the way to go in mine and Pete’s opinion.

    Yes ,those stainless bumpers are just so good.

    We took the Ghia out there too but the photo shoot was mainly for the ragtop. I now have the stainless bumpers on this one too. I did the Euro style.

    The green Ghia has the stainless bumpers with the towel bars. I have also added all the rubber weather stripping to both sets. They are nice!

    That’s a great price for stainless bumpers!

    How long have you been running them. Think they’ll last 9 years?

    I’ve had mine installed for almost 5 years now (June ’16) and they look as good as new.

    Yes Tim they came with the guards.

    Pat I would expect them to last at least as long at the others. Plus they won’t rust right?

    Cool they look nice. Are they as shiny as chrome ones? Can you tell that the shine is any different?

    Tim they are flawless. The shine might better than modern chrome.
