Long time no build thread!  I’m working on my 55 Bjarny and this lil guy (outside, but it’s fun).  Weather’s nice, lets go!!

I paid waay to much for her but I had to have.  Lots of cool history from Saskatchewan and sadly it’s the most complete and almost ready to go bus I have.  Of course it needs a bunch of work, and it’s not gonna get done by itself, lets GO!!

I wish I found it!  It’s from SasKatewaan.  Used to be an old grocery delivery bus.  A guy in Calgary finally liberated it and sold it to me.  It’s strange to see a Euro bus in the middle of Canada, but it’s one of the coolest buses I’ve owned.

    super cool !

    Thanks!

Discovered why everyone loves clean, blasted parts.  SOoo awesome!  Finally broke down and got some done (costs an insane amount of money up here, have to get my own rig!).   Bjarny wheels got a little bit of love as well (test run).

All progress ground to a halt.  Why?  Accelerator cable.  OG one was just too short, so I stupidly decided to change it.  Rusted tubes, lots of junk in the way and… still no new cable installed!  The joy of split buses!

Took a little break to paint the hood of my 73 Challenger.  SOLVENT POP and I had to paint it outside, but that’s ok, it matches the rest of the car now 🙂  It’s mostly OG paint except hood was klacked.

Out of all the VW’s and old cars I have, this is the one that is reliable enough to drive everyday.  70,100 Miles and she just runs (and sits outside).
