While all the attention was on Kelly Park this weekend, I quietly took another 1st place with the Yamaha at our local vintage bike show. Three in a row now.

When I got my '75 Goldwing a few years back, I got a '76 parts bike with it. No front end, but pretty complete. I sourced a Suzuki sport bike front fork set-up and have been kicking some ideas around in my head, café stance/look, and a set of 36 Dell's as the carburation. Wellll, with me dragging my feet, #-o someone over in Slovakia stole my idea. ](*,) ](*,) Now I'm going to look like the copy cat. Frown I've got a bit different look in mind, but this guy pretty much nailed it.

I rarely ever post here and this bike definitely isn't as cool as some of the others listed, but I thought some might appreciate it since its painted in VW colors (L87 and L325). Was an 81 Kawasaki CSR, chopped and sloped the rear, made my own fender, seat and cowl. It's only a 650, but she screams. Thanks for looking.

Big thumbs up for this one Matt ! =D>
911 operator: What is your emergency ? Me: Some asshole just pulled out in front of me & totaled my car! 911: Are you injured? Me: No. 911: Is the other driver injured ? Me: Not yet....but you should probably send an ambulance.

Thanks everyone. I built this completely in my small apartment garage. Cutting, welding, painting, all of it. My neighbors loved me. This site was a huge motivation for me to do it all myself. Thanks JJ and crew!
