I like the headlights. Mine suck, I just drive with my high beams on. Still not as bright as some of the new cars!! I bet i have a shitty ground.

Kelley park we all can cruise over, I figure there will be a group of guys heading over with fuel injected cars so I'm gonna roll in that group.

Maybe Subaru parts could fix it?

I have a feeling its gonna be a cram session on the beetle to make it to KP if the interior shop doesn't make good time on getting it done.

Haha good to know. We will see how I do on time. Who knows, might have to buy Andy and John a bunch wings/beer to get them to help me knock out the front door assemblies Thursday or Friday. Hmm. :-k :-k :-k :-k

Interior is done! Came out lighter than I anticipated, but Larry did a good job. I dig the lightness of the seats as it makes the inside look a little larger, but the contrast from the beige door to the door panel isn't really there, but the quality is top notch.

What do you guys think?

Had to add a quick story as well. Went to pick up the car last night with my parents (I was driving the car back so had to get out there), and being that my bugs tail lights are not currently working, they wanted to follow me so that I didnt get rear ended. They were in my Honda. This motor scoots. Its got pretty long gears so its not a rocket off the line, but man it scoots. I was rolling into the throttle going through the gears out in the country and I see the Honda disappearing behind me, so at the next stop sign I hang out and wait for them to catch me. I guess I rolled the bug to about 85-90 down a long straight and they had the Honda floored trying to catch up. Smile Smile Smile

This is my first big motor VW and man does it scoot. Even at that speed, this thing isn't even trying. 85 is 3700 RPM's in 4th. Haha.

Okay Andy, I think I am ready to keep up with your Subi Swaps! Wink

Seats and door panels look great. Headliner too. It's all coming together nicely. =D>
