Man! That sucks! My house and garage got robbed once, and someone stole my XR650R Honda. That still hurts to this day. I can only imagine what you and your dad are feeling. Hope some time can heal the wounds.

Thanks for the info.
Let me draw you a fucking picture!

I feel bad for you old man. I hope things work out for him. Loosing a 34 coupe is bad enough, but your whole home is crazy.

Looks like the fire fighters were worried about igniting the the trees/forest around the house. It could have been much worse.

Hey guys. Thanks for the condolences.

I lost a big fucking truckload of rare parts. Nothing you can just go out and buy new either. All of my primo shit. The only thing that is keeping me from loosing my mind is that my dad lost it all. All of the tools that were used to build that garage, were in that garage. Same with his car. He only owns a pair of pliers and a screwdriver that were in the house. So I have no room to bitch. He's fine physically, not so much mentally. The garage was detached from the house, so the house is fine, but really all of the value was in the garage. It would have been better (cheaper and easier to replace) if the house burnt down. But that's not what happened. Who knows what insurance is going to pay.

So yeah, I think I at least need to take a break. This is the second huge financial loss I've had with cars in the last 5 years. It's got me questioning why I do it. I'm going to off my buses and the oval over the next few months. Other than that, not really sure. Maybe take up watching football where the worst thing that happens is your team looses.

Keep up the good work KCW. Sorry about the negativity. Thanks again.

Hey Ben, check these tires out for your 27" wheels. They're still a little skinny but it's about 5mm wider than the originals, it's the widest tire they make for those rims. Some decent tread for dirt and such also. I just bought a pair for a bike I'm going to sell, not bad for the price.

Hey Zach, sorry to hear about the loss. Must be gut wrenching... I can only imagine. I'm sure it got all of us thinking how we'd feel to lose the stuff we've busted our asses to build and acquire.

Thanks Zack. Think I'm just going to order some bolt on 700c's. Been looking for some 27"s, but haven't had much luck. I got one more place to look, an old shop here in town called Bikus. They take in all sorts of stuff and have tons of rims. Just need to go down and look.
