Not sure it's right for you bud

Some of you may remember this junk I brought home.

To recap, I took the best parts from these his & hers '63 Schwinn's to build my '62 American. With what was left over and what I had in my stash, I nearly had enough to build the Typhoon up (the men's frame). So about a year ago I started on it. I was 95% finished with the rebuild when the old front wheel stopped me. It was totally fucked and needed replacing but I didn't feel like dropping any more coin on this thing since I'm just going to sell it. When I was in AZ a couple months ago I found a Schwinn saddle and old chrome 26" front wheel with a New Departure hub at my dads house that I totally forgot about. So today it was game on. Cleaned it up and rebuilt the hub, dotted my i's and crossed my t's. Flipped the ape hangers around just to do something stupid :) It's ready to sell finally.

Change the bars.

DMR wingbars have a nice moto/klunker look and come in 7/8" diameter.

Franz, its funny you say this! I have been giving thoughts to bikes and the shit Jones has had in the past, not sure anything "faster" than your 20" is going to be much better. Then there is E-bikes, they are spendy but the craze in the industry today, even the bro deal isn't cheap in comparison to a "traditional" bike. I think this would be the perfect fit Jones. Think about those camping trips and shit that you do, its endless where you could go, just make sure you have a fully charged battery as these are a biatch to pedal unassisted.
Its not what you think of an Ebike of old, its not a twist the throddle, its a pedal assist, so you still have to move in order for the motor to work.

Something to really consider.......but the costs are pretty high for anything good

I think those are awesome.... really awesome!!!!!... but the chances of me spending that kind of coin on a bike is very unlikely... [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X [-X
