Pictures from work..

Postby andym » Thu Jul 22, 2010 8:16 pm

I've been working at a Machine Shop/ Dynamic Balancing Shop for a while now.. I balance farm equipment, Cooling fans for glass plants, fans for tomato plants.. Car engines, cranks, rods, pistons, fly wheels.. if it spins, I can balance it. Its cool stuff, alot of "old" technology...
These pictures are of a 7' Long, 8"round still and 20" spinning round shredders..

I used to work at a train yard in Phoenix, I do not miss that job!

Been doing auto upholstery for almost 4 years now and I love it, I'll be moving next year so I need to find another gig... somewhere!

the beams in the pool house that are standing on the four legs are 47.2"
high and 4.3" thick and 47.5 ft long (the short side is 26.1 ft) with the
smaller beams in the middle and without the wooden toping its ways over 6
metric tons solid wood laminated with 1" planks.

srry for my bad english Smile
