Alright, some people know my job.. It's weird, I work at a shop that does driveshafts for cars/trucks, balance anything that spins, and rebuild engines, grind cranks, rods, heads, whatever. Plus CNC work. Pretty much do it all shop with metal.
Recently I've been building engines. Did a 6.0 Chevy, 4.0 jeep, 440 dodge, and some other short block jobs.
Here's a 4.0 jeep engine on the oil pressure test machine. It's to test oil pressure and compression.

440 motor, it's cool because you can watch the lifters, push rods, and the whole motor turn to make sure oil is getting to the right places.

I'm in metals recycling. I do my best to save any and all aircooled vw vehicles and send them to better homes for another chance at life.

This is for you Franz, it's a 1930 Cadillac aluminum engine block, #12 in production. It's a v16. Who the fuck could afford a caddy in 1930?

This was the only part that showed up at work, unsure where rest of it is..or where you'd find parts.

Looks like ya cleaned up a bit of the odds and ends. My yard is headed the other way since local scrap prices dropped to about $10 ton for auto scrap.
