Are Split and Bay Window gates different?

Just got a 71 Single Cab and the Gates need work and there aren't alot of options out there...

I believe baywindow gates are longer. O:)

Sweet truck. I dig early bay window trucks. Post more pics!

I know that bay window rear gates are different than split window rear gates (holes for the brake lights), but not sure if the sides gates are different. I would check Gerson's website and if he has a pre-67 gate and a post-67 gate, then assume they are different.

EDIT: Quick search of Gerson's site. Broken up into 4 groups. 52-53. 53-66, 66-67, 68-75.

So I would guess they are different.

Yes about 2-3" longer I think? We held one up to a split not too long ago.

it's because of the chicken tax look it up it is still in use today.
