Long day of brake work. I had to re-bush the main rod...I know that they make those bushings...but I would have to order and wait for them to arrive. Screw that, I want to keep getting stuff done. So, I made a tip to our local hardware store and came up with some bronze bushings that I had to open-up the inner diameter on. Works good as new. I also straitened and ran a die on each brake rod so that they'll adjust easily.

John basted a manifold for me, as I plan to remove both manifolds to replace leaking gaskets.

Cool car... I bet it's one of those projects that you plan on just changing some stuff, but what it connects to is bad, and what that connects to is bad so it leads onto fixing alot more than originally planned!
I had one of these come into the shop the other day the guy put a inline 4 Volvo motor in it, kinda cool.

What's going on with the truck?

Having seen those kit-car model T's on a VW pan, I wonder what would be involved in actually putting a VW engine into one of these things. An American 'peoples car' mashed up with a german 'peoples car'. Ever been done before?
