Franz's 31 ford pick-up fix-up job.

Postby Franz » Wed Jun 06, 2012 10:42 pm

I can always use a crispy-new KCW shirt. Smile

Part of the coupe deal was that I had to get this truck running/driving again. The 82 year old man just wants to drive his Model A...and I'm going to make it happen. He said that it was a functioning machine when he parked it 10 years ago(which I think was more like 20)....so it sounds like simple stuff...gas, battery, tires, fluids....maybe some electircal.

I started today with a good cleaning. There was some serious farm dust all over this thing.

Sweet!

Did it have floors in it too when it was parked? Smile

Why buy when you can build?
I've spent hours on parts that you can buy for pennies.

Gage found his way into the truck yesterday before Franz cleaned it up.. He was a little scared of spiders, then he fell in love with it.. John's oval has stiff competition for Gage's favorite car to play in.. Smile

I ordered a new set of tires too. While I'm waiting for tires, I think I'll blast and paint the 19" wheels.
