I understand but it makes me sad to see it go.

What if it was once or twice a year?

Thats a good idea...and maybe maybe we can make it go 60 days instead of just 30?

Do a winter build-off, and a summer build-off? December and January - June and July?

Any other ideas?

I am in for another winter one. I dont want my whole build to be battling wasps and snakes.

Sad to see it go, the last few months has really got me back into a routine of working on my cars.

The idea of a 60 day build-off twice a year sounds good.

Franz can you move my Ginetta thread to the Euro bunker forum so I can continue the build there.

I think the idea should continue, but without the prize. I wasn't doing it for the prize actually, I was doing it because it's a deadline! And there's other guys who are also busting ass to the deadline!

I got my panel running/driving/stopping etc from dead in the field in a month, I would NOT be so motivated without these threads.

I say keep'er going, no prizes. Then have a bi-annual one if you like with prizes (maybe get some people to chip in some other prize contributions, I know my company would be happy to kick in something).

Also, I voted for Gonebuggy :) Great job everyone but he edged it out there...

This get's my vote, I never managed to get as much done as some of the guys on here but the monthly deadline and watching the other builds progress kept me motivated to head to the garage for a few hours instead of the sofa.

Franz please ignore my previous post, can you move my Ginetta thread to the June Build-off. It's already the 2nd of the month and I'm behind schedule. Smile

Updated my build thread with a quick summary... A little late but whatever. Like mentioned above, I also think we can keep this going minus the prizes, I don't think anyone was actually doing it for that. It could also be something super cheap... Build off sticker?

Had a blast, hope it keeps going.
