I'm sure that a guy like you could build your own 3.5" flipped spindles. Save yourself some loot too.

It's all good my extra grant money from school is currently funding the bus. Otherwise I would have done them myself

update time. been slacking this week. but got some work done last night and this morning
starting cleaning up the underside. finished driver front fender well. going to knock out the passenger one next then cut out whats left of the old front floor and get all underneath it before i install the new floor

Image

also tackled the rear corner. and i don't think i did too bad for my first attempt at any kind of real welding. need to go back and fill in a few spots then i can get the battery tray in

been ignoring this turd for a while. traded off my beetle and ended up with a jetta and another bug so been dumping a lot of my time into the jetta gettin it low and what not.

but gotten back into the swing of things the last couple of weeks. got the entire underside cleaned up and the front end mocked up with the dropped spindles. going try to get the beam pulled back out and install the adjusters this week.

but today got the tranny wrapped up. just got to get brake stuff and srping plates and hopefully get it on all fours in the next week or so

and here's how its sitting now.
