Nice work dude, def badass =D> Do you not put the rubber seals on the spindles? I heard from someone else that they just throw them in the garbage because they crack and are pretty worthless.

Thanks Steve, The seals are deffenitly a good idea. They keep grease in, and sand etc. out. I should have put mine back in reguardless of thier condidtion, Its been awhile since ive done a set of flipped spindles and i got mixed up a bit. I remembered something had to come out. but i left the bottom fiber washer in and seals out by mistake instead and had to grind that washer out after the first one was assembled. ](*,) Flipped spindles are a pita to press apart once assembled and i wanted to drive this shit. thats why they arent in. 8-[

I put in a lot of wheel time yesterday, It feels great being behind the wheel of my own bus again! \:D/

I didn't start off the day so great though. My + battery cable and clutch pedal some how failed at the same time yesterday.. But i got it going and proceeded to the car wash for its first visit in probably 25+ years. I didnt have a shamwow or anything fancy like that so to dry it off i hit the hi way and laid into the 1915 and tall gears for some low rpm hiway cruising What a difference! =D> Anyway whats a thread without pics...

I was worried about engine temps with it being over 100 degrees out, so i pulled over and checked about 30 minuites into the drive.

It was warm... 315 degrees warm.. Image

So after i let it cool we slowed down a bit. I was pulling up long steep hills in 4th gear going 70 repeatedly. after i slowed down it would maintain between 250-280 still very hot.

We pulled into a cabelas parking lot to fix one of my plugged ldle jets.
Finally running great and the temps are 230 degrees on my 1915cc
