I pm'ed franz to move it to febuary build off. I want to get it done in febuary for sure. im hoping for fair weather this month. But we have a blizzard warning tonight into the weekend.

My beam sideplates just got dropped off while typing this! \:D/

I got my side plates trimmed and welded on. they didnt quite fit my stock tubing.

the beam cleaned up and painted too \:D/

The beam is assembled. I polished the aluminum blocks up before i put them in.
It got me thinking about wheels. Do you guys think mean dark wheels wheels or polished/chrome would look better with the gun metal?

I think The gussets would have looked alot better if i wrapped my welds on the ends. lesson learned.

I cleared over the krylon bbq black on my panhead with the left over clear \:D/

Now Im kind of leaning towards bodyworking and painting the pan too. Ive come this far and it does look out of place against the beam ](*,) Smile

Make the tunnel nice on the top side, and leave it exposed. Just run floor mats. minimal carpet. I assume that you're going to drag the shit out of that car...... I probably wouldn't get too crazy with making the pan perfect.

Here is some wheel insperation. I think either the bright or dark silver torquers would look titties.

Im digging the rubber mats. But I think ive only seen them in the one peice style that covers the hump then has a second peice for the rear.

Do you know of a resource for the style that covers the floor only?
