started stripping out wiring last night.
nothing too bad, just a few "extras" and a ton of broken or loose connections.
I guess a life on a OK. farm can be a little tough....
anyone interested in this thing is welcome to shoot me an offer.

Very cool Steve. I would have to hang on to it for a little while and have some fun before I let it go.
Nice job. =D>

the longer I have it the more that will get done to it.
excluding any paint or bodywork.
I am hoping to get it out on some of the local trails around here and beat her up a little.
windsheild down, no rollbars or seatbelts should make for a wild ride.
that "new" fuel pump was a pain in the ass for sure.
wouldnt work at all until I discovered that the pump and vacuum rods were not even connected to the cam follower!
rebuilding a brand new pump is irritating to say the least.
but its done and works well now.
the wipers are next while I wait for the rest of the brake stuff to get here.
having a nice place to work on it helps a lot! (Tim knows about a nice place to work)
and Thanks John for the props on the shop!
not big but very organized and clean right now, no bodywork yet....
the 911 engine and my 2110 will be next up on the agenda.
then two coke coolers and a buddy L tanker truck from the 20's

When I was younger I worked in a small single car block garage repairing VWs.
You don't need a huge shop I can tell you that for sure. You will only collect more shit.
Keep us posted on the new projects.

Now get busy on the VW ones.

I may or may not have a couple of things in cryogenic storage. Dont need a jeep, but a Porsche, thats a horse of a different color.

A KY chapter huh?
that could get slippery.....
the 911 is going to take a while to get done.
the drivetrain is going back together and in the car to get everything working correctly.
drive it around some and tweak as many noses as we can.
then back out to refinish the bay and detail everything.
we are going to bodywork and paint it back the OG color (white)
We plan to work on it until it sells.
each stage makes it worth more.
but still going to be cheap for a 911, guessing around $11,000 finished.
Im open to trade of anything but favors and used cabana boys....
