master cylinder came off easily.
lots of sandy crud built up around it.
but the bolts popped free easy as pie.
brake fluid is thick and ruddy brown but no sign of heavy moisture yet.
in the berryman to soak for a few days...
still waiting on shoes and rubber components.
electrical is next for me and Dad is finishing the carb and tank.
there is a vacuum pump built into the bottom of the fuel pump to operate the drivers side wiper motor. right side is a manual knob/lever.

Got started this morning on the Jeep!
got all the brakes disassembled and tore the wheel cylinderrs apart and they all are shot.
honed the piss out of the master but it is toasted as well.
another order placed today for all the hydros and soft lines.
all 4 drums interchange and shoes as well.
warn locking hubs are in perfect condition inside and just got a cleanup.
also got the wiring for the lights worked out easily, crusty sockets clean up nice with a battery terminal cleaner.
the engine in this thing has 4 rocker arms for the intake valves and the exhaust is in the block like a flat head!
compression is good and builds oil pressure on the starter.
still waiting for the carb parts to finish it up and the tank is drying out after dad spent a few days offroading the 4 wheeler with it strapped to the back full of kerosene and bolts and chains rattlin around.
came out nice !
a few pics from today.

made more progress tonight and last night.
the rear soft line had to have been leaking for a LOOOONG time to build up all this grunge.

and this so far plus the taillights work as well now

vacuum or manual wiper assembly, not sure yet if it works or not.
once the fuel vacuum pump is up and running we will find out.

parts showing up by the end of the week should have this thing close to a yard drive by the end of the weekend.
