Looking through my old photos for Scott, I came across these. What a missed opportunity to have a cool logo'ed bus. Didn't find these until after I had the whole shell in paint and was working the doors. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

I'm lov'in this bus! \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ Drove it everyday this week. Driving it more and more aggressively. Need to find a short throw shifter for a small ball system. Those long ass strokes between gears are slowing me down. \:D/ \:D/ \:D/

Ah shit!!! Ben has the need for speed now!!! Good to hear man. Im jones'n for another swap right now!! I want a simple swap next, push a 2.2 in something and be gone!

Just finished yanking the motor and trans out of the donor Subaru. Going to use the trans as a test stand. Then I don't need a $500 adapter to see if it runs. I was working on getting the stock wiring out but said fuck that and quit. I can wire a microsquirt up in 30 minutes, I got 4-5 hours into fucking with this one.

I'm working all weekend, shit huh!

I've nearly convinced a buddy of mine in AZ to put a Subaru in the fiberglass wide body 356 Speedster he's building. Light car, lots of tire, lots of power \:D/

^^^If he's in Tucson I can. Smile I'm not some young whippersnapper willing to drive back and fourth to Phoenix or Prescott. Smile

Speaking of driving. I did about 130 miles today. Stopped in Patagonia for some of the best biscuits and gravy around. Tooled around the place and looked at properties for sale. Thinking of a nice quite town to retire in, in a couple years.

This place is right along side the road. The bus is fully functional. New tires on it since I last saw it a couple months back. It's a shrine to the 'Day of the Dead".

Finally found someone that works there and asked permission to park next to it and get a picture.

An old adobe brick house I saw. Over 150 years old from what I was told.

Ben!!!! I got some tune updates for you if you wanna fuck with it. So far all the updates have been really good and made the engine run smoother, start easier. I don't have a lot of road testing on it yet, but everything looks and feels better.

Now if Aran gets off night shift I'm gonna update his bus. ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

This past weekend I put a water temp gauge in the bus. Warmer weather is imminent and I want to keep an eye on coolant temp. So I had the lap top running to compare temps. Although the bus has been running excellent, I decided to do an auto tune when it really wasn't needed. Got off the freeway and stopped the auto tune, noticed my idle was irregular and computer battery was dead. ](*,) Dammit! Smile Still drivable, just stumbles every few seconds or so. Get home, plug in the laptop, and auto tune the idle for a few minutes. All is happy again. \:D/ Love this stuff.

Andy, get to town bro! Want to try your new program. Smile
