Thanks Jon, and thanks for the tip on the paint; it really does lie down pretty flat. Weather has been shitty the last week. Corey sent that rain up here and it hasn't stopped.. Damm you Corey! Weather is looking better this weekend so I plan on finishing and painting the engine lid, and start putting this thing back together.. maybe some tires? I'm in between keeping it stock height and lowering it. What do you guys think?

Thanks guys. Jon, I'm just under a gallon. I figure my engine lid, inner hatch, and window frames will fininsh the rest of the gallon.

I think I'm going to lower it after all, not sure how much though. Maybe try to flip the spindles myself and spring plate adapters for the rear. I have never done the spindles so we will see how that goes. [-o< I plan on using it for camping and got some Hehr windows.

Weather is looking nice over the weekend so I plan on finish the painting (under dash and inside), put the dash together and getting rolling again. I want to buy some tires for it this weekend.

What size do you guys think if I'm going to lower the rear with spring plate adapters from old speed, flipped spindles and leveled out with adjusters (if not a little rake in the front)?

I did my bus with flipped spindles and old speed drop plates, it's a cool set up.

Right on. I liked the height of your bus, not to low, but got rid of the wheel gap VWs have. Any time on the manifold? Post some pics when you get a chance and text me your paypal address or do you want me to mail out cash to you? I'll send some more mags, I've got piles of them... like years and years of subscriptions Smile

Thanks guys. Jobe how is the shop coming along? Haven't seen you on in a bit, hope that means plenty of business. This build-off got me motivated to get it done. I hope it doesn't go away. Here's the progress from today. I will try to finish painting the cargo area tomorrow, and the rest of hte remove ables. I spent most of the day scrapping the glued on part of the head liner off. That was fun . . . :-({|= But anyway, got the cab area painted and I'm pretty happy with marking another one off the list.

So I unloaded the bus to get to the inside. You never know how much is in there until you get it out ](*,)

Check out these jems, can't wait to get these off Smile :

Here's the cab area, I'm beat. It was/is hot out there today. I'm gonna kick back and enjoy a few brews.. maybe sit in the bus and pretend driving :-$ :

SWEET! I can't wait to see it.

The hardest part about the assembly stage is finding the stuff you put somewhere that you put it there because you would know where it is. ](*,) #-o
