Masking tape is your best friend when doing this. Also use a small chunk of rubber hose over you drill bit so you bit tip just pokes out of the hose.
When you bust through the hose stops the drill from f'n ya paint up... Smile

Deluxe trim.....yeahhhhhhhh!!!... \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ =D> =D> =D>

Was filling her up this morning when I heard the sound of water hitting the floor and when I look it was fuel coming out of my fuel tank from inside the panel. I let it drip for couple minutes and I took the chance [-X started her up and drove her home .now I got to remove the carburetors and the panel and see what's going on I'm thinking one of the seals is bad but to drop 2 gallons of fuel on the floor this first time #-o #-o #-o #-o #-o
I read somewhere that the 72's the panel covering the fuel tank can be removed without removing the engine wish me luck. Wink Wink

Awww I wish I could say yes! I gotta get some other projects back on the road though. Tempting!!! That bus in the photo is so sweet!!

Pull the engine to fix the fuel leak with the fuel tank. The problem was that the previous owner failed to connect the lines properly. #-o #-o I thought my fuel sending unit was bad But it was just not connected. [-X [-X As I pulled the engine I come to find out that it was not bolted down properly everything was finger tight just my luck. #-o #-o
